Ethiopia to charge 121 Oromo Prisoners with Terrorism

The TPLF regime is once again using the tried and old tactics to single out Oromos. The worsening economic downturn and a growing discontent with the regime’s empty propaganda has fueled an increasing anticipation for popular uprising.

To preempt the occurrence of such a popular revolt, the regime is desperately acting to silence dissent and those seen as threats (real, perceived and imagined).

If the events in North Africa and middle east are any indication, the recent crackdown and the unlawful charge against innocent Oromo civilians will only make things worse. The people of Ethiopia must unite and topple the minority junta.
