UK: The Annual Oromo Sports Day 2011

Dear OYA UK Members and Supporters,

As one of our valued partners we would like to invite you to our special summer event-The Annual Oromo Sports Day 2011. The event will take place on Saturday 23rd July 2011 at Finsbury Park, London, Seven Sisters Road,N4 2DH. In addition to the sporting activities that will be running on the day, Oromo Youth Association in UK is organizing other special events.

OYA UK is undertaking fundraising activity for Oromo Relief Association UK. Oromo Relief Association is currently working on a project for the education of young Oromo girls in Nairobi to cover their school fees, uniforms and meals for four years. We would also like for you to help us to raise funds for ORA’s project. We have prepared money collection form. If you would want to raise money you can order the form. For further information please use the contacts on the flyer.

OYA UK has also invited Oromo Coffee Company (OCC) to promote their products on the event. The OCC is a unique social enterprise-owned and managed by a group of Oromo Refugees in UK. The OCC sources Fair Trade Certified Coffee of an exceptionally quality, directly from smallholder Oromo farmers. On this sporting event, OCC will promote their product and play football against the other teams.

Please come & enjoy our event and support a great cause. Together we can change the lives of our community and bring a momentous change by strengthening the unity among us.

With Kind Regards,
OYA UK Executive Committee
