The Stream discusses the plight of Oromo people
Al Jazeera’s The Stream featured a show on Oromo identity and issues faced by Ethiopia’s largest majority. Entitled “Oromos seek justice in Ethiopia” the discussion featured Mohammed Ademo, Jawar Mohammed, and Fido Ebba as well as a host of social networking contributors. The Stream utilized social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to add onto the discussion. The show has generated a lot of discussion about Oromo and Ethiopia.
